Born and raised in Switzerland at the French and German border Dominique Severina studied Art History, Archeology and Cultural Anthropology. She earned an equivalent of a master’s degree in Art History from the University in Basel. She worked in the field of archeology doing excavation, research, restoration and conservation.

As life has it, in its unpredictability, a sudden change brought her from the mountains over the seas to New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment, where she discovered the subtleties of the English language and its poetic sounds.

First an "archeologist of the soil, digging in the past to understand the present she became an "archeologist of the soul" surfing the present to understand the past and the future using energy work, sounds, words, colors, galactic energy to weave the precious thread of life.

Deeply interested in the alternative healing fields she studied Polarity Therapy and Massage as well as Reiki and Aromatherapy.

Driven by her interest in children she studied Dr. Maria Montessori's approach to education. The first time being drawn to write more extensively was after an eighteen day river trip down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon in 2009, right around the time Severina turned fifty. It was a trip of a lifetime as she often refers to. She had the luck to do it three years in a row. It helped her deepen the yearning of writing and sharing. Down in the Canyon she encountered her true authentic self. It felt she had found something she had left behind there, maybe eons ago. All her senses were awake, alert, responding. Every single cell seemed to remember, remember the past, present and future. There was no timeline anymore. All was one.
Lately she has discovered the amazing work with the Crystalline Stellar Skulls.

An archaeologist, caver, and healing arts practitioner, she is integrating her knowledge and research into her books.

Severina is currently writing a sequel to her first book The Hidden Faces of the Grand Canyon ~ A Galactic Ascent and is also working on two children’s books.
